FAQs

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers. Here are the most frequently asked questions I get. Take a minute to read through them, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any more!

  • This varies year to year. This year I’m taking around 28.

  • The turnaround depends on how much I shoot, how busy I am, my travel schedule, and the holidays. Typically, for sessions it takes 3 weeks or less and weddings take 8 weeks or less. I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I give time to each and every image.

  • No, because editing is half the magic and without this huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave out any photos that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask!

  • My deposit varies depending on the package or session you choose. It ranges from 30%-50%. The remainder is due at least one month before your wedding or session date. Sessions are paid in 2 payments, and weddings can be split in up to 3 payments! I’m happy to work with your schedule!

  • I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, acne, scrape, etc.). If you’re self-conscious about something, please let me know as I’ll be extra aware of that while I’m posing you.

  • It varies depending on the session or wedding. Typically around 400 for weddings, but I’ve delivered galleries with 700, so it just depends on the events of the day. I do guarantee a minimum # of images in each package. For sessions typically around 75.

  • All of my packages include travel. This way you don’t need to worry about hidden or extra fees.

  • I will help with many things. In fact, I provide all my clients with multiple guides to help with planning, what to wear, timeline, etc. If you want something a little more hands-on and in-depth, I offer wedding planning services as an add-on.

  • This is very rare. The only time something like this would occur, would be if it was something completely out of my control. In the event of something like this, I would do my best to find a replacement photographer that I trust with a similar style, although I’m not legally held to do so. If I can’t make it to your wedding, your money will be refunded.

  • I always encourage embracing all weather, as it’s beautiful and unique in photos. If it’s harsh enough, then we will find a time to reschedule.

  • If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date, then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date. I try my best to be flexible.

  • I’m more than happy to help with ideas for your shoot! Just let me know!

  • I am based out of Utah! I have many couples travel to me for shoots, and I also travel out of state often for shoots and weddings.
